The Msinga Partnership is a ministry action of the CFW ( Commission for Witness) of the DRC (Dutch Reformed Church) Synod of the Western Cape in cooperation with the Msinga URCSA (Uniting Reformed Church in Southern Africa).
REPORTS
Witness Ministry is responsible for:
1. Liaison and cooperation with the DRC family, facilitating partnerships between congregations, and the development of congregations’ independence in the execution of their ministries.
2 . Visits to ministerings and partnership meetings;
3. Financial support for the remuneration of work forces and evangelical actions.
Vision:
Together, in unity and trust, out of reverence for and to the glory of God, we help to build the Kingdom of God through Word and deed and prayer, in and from Msinga. In this vision there is no place for dependency and independency. We opt for inter-dependency. This inter-dependency is spelled out:
- Respect for each other
- Both have a say in dealing with matters
Four core values:
- Reverence and obedience to God is the driving force for the partnership.
- Here is a church/ congregation whom we come to support as guests.
- We plan and work here in relationship and in conversation with the local church council.
- We need respect for the church council and vice versa.
