JMTI Sports Evangelism is an evangelism program done by pastoral students at Josophat Mwale Theological Institute (JMTI) situated in Nkhoma Mission, Malawi. JMTI is the official theological seminary of the Church of Central Africa Presbyterian (CCAP) Nkhoma Synod. The program was developed with the aim of using sports environment as a platform for sharing the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to
the audience that come to watch different sport activities. JMTI has soccer, volleyball and netball teams of pastoral students and their wives. These teams go wherever they are called to do mission and evangelism work. The program was started in January, 2020 with the purpose of reaching the unreached with the Gospel and to help CCAP Nkhoma Synod congregations in fulfilling their mission mandate.
