“Wow! What a day. Thank you so much for an excellent, instructive and informative teaching of practical learning. It was so good. I learned an awful lot,” says Sr Sabina Jaftha from URCSA Saron (Tulbagh presbytery) after she attended an Introduction to Contextual Bible Study (CBS) workshop for Christian Women’s Ministry (CWM) leaders on 25 February hosted by URCSA Porterville.
The workshop was facilitated by Prop. Aidan Windvogel and Prop. Rachel Linderoth, and was attended by 14 women from the presbyteries of Wellington, Tulbagh and Porterville.
Another attendee says, “It was good to be at the Bible study. The CBS workshop gave me a new perspective about how to be a chairperson of the CWM. I enjoyed it very much. Thanks to the proponents who sacrificed their time to guide us.”
Mrs Cornelia Conradie, also from URCSA Saron, says, “The sisters were generous with their input and plans of actions regarding the recruitment of women. We appreciate the effort and presentation of the workshop by the proponents.”
