“The presentation was powerful! Rev. Sifuba guided us on how to use CBS as a tool to equip us to overcome challenges. CBS can become the first step to starting a Christian education. It was a learning curve indeed,” says Mrs. Fredericks, one of the CWM members of the PE Presbytery who attended the CBS facilitators training workshop at Port Elizabeth on 17 May.
“We explored in detail how to work with different groups, how to frame the context and theme, the do’s and don’ts of facilitating, and the awareness of your power as facilitator,” says Rev. Babalwa Sifuba who facilitated the workshop.
One of the other members who attended, Mrs. Layini, says, “We had a fruitful training which enlightened me in so many ways. I think the church ought to have Christian education which will begin at a very early age. I enjoyed the session and I pray that God will assist me to be able to share this knowledge with others productively.”
