“Today I have learnt that as a facilitator it is important to focus on the group, your target audience, that you are presenting to. On 16 June Rev. Babalwa Sifuba facilitated a CBS facilitators training workshop for the Christian Women’s Ministry (CWM) of the Graaff-Reinet Presbytery. It was attended by six women and took place at URCSA Graaff Reinet.
“The group was very enthusiastic as they had recently been introduced to CBS,” says Rev. Sifuba. “The focus was on how to facilitate CBS, and how to formulate CBS questions. We discussed ant tried out the different ways one can facilitate CBS to a group.”
The group listens attentively to Rev. Sifuba while she explains the CBS method.
Another attendee says, “It was an informative and empowering session; I have learnt the importance of understanding the passage and willingness to do research and offer information when needed as a facilitator.”
