The Christian Women’s Ministry (CWM) group who attended the CBS follow-up workshop

“Today’s presentation was very enlightening. Now I have a better understanding of being a CBS facilitator. I have gained more knowledge of what I must bear in mind and what I should be aware of as a facilitator. I am now at ease with how to formulate questions on the chosen theme,” says Cynthia Horne, one of the women who attended a recent CBS workshop.

Exploring the Word of God.

Eight women of the CWM Uitenhage Presbytery attended a CBS facilitator follow-up training workshop on 17 June at URCSA Ebenhaeser Congregation (Uitenhage). It was facilitated by Rev. Babalwa Sifuba. She says, “In this follow-up session, the group focused more about how to facilitate a diverse group regarding age, language, and literacy. We explored possible ways of facilitating CBS to such a group without making anyone feeling left out.”

Another attendee, Jacinda Rayners, says, “This was again a very informative session. I have learnt the importance of sharing information with others, the importance of communication, and to be accommodative of every person in a group.”
