“Today I have learnt skills and tactics of facilitating. I also realised that preparation is vital when you are going to facilitate a workshop in order to be able to guide your group,” says Anele Bhili, one of the Christian Youth Ministry (CYM) members who attended the CBS facilitator training workshop at URCSA Motherwell Congregation in Port Elizabeth on Saturday 29 July.

The theme of the workshop was mental health and was attended by five CYM members. “It was a very productive, fun and thought-provoking session. We decided to do training practicing on the theme using Matthew 11.

Chwayita Cakwe, one of the CYM members who also attended the workshop, says, “Today I’ve learnt how to manage group dynamics, how to set up an relaxed environment and welcoming atmosphere to everyone in the group.”
