The Eagles Nest Ministries’ team who packed the container for CAVA

Some years back, Mr. F. Morris (now late) used to order CAVA literature in bulk and distributed it to mine and farm workers for free. His son in-law Rev. Rob Birkbeck from the USA visited CAVA’s office some four years ago and gave them printing jobs to do. He has now gone a step further and has sourced a 20ft container of assorted Christian books for CAVA to distribute for free.

Mrs Christine Chanza, manager of CAVA in Harare, Zimbabwe, informed us that they shipped the container yesterday. It contains 1,648 packages of used Bibles and Christian educational literature. These items have been donated by organizations and individuals in the United States, and is being sent to our sister congregations in Zimbabwe for their spiritual and educational benefit and free distribution. It is intended that these books and educational materials be for the enjoyment and aid to the recipients.

Rev. Rob Birkbeck has promised to pay for clearance and all that is needed to get the container to CAVA. “We only need to hire a few guys to offload as they would want to take the container back,” Mrs Chanza says.

His wish is for CAVA to remain relevant and stick to its vision of availing Christian Literature and reaching out to the less privileged members of society. Another positive result of stepping back and letting God step in!
