The RCZ candidate ministers and RCZ church leaders
On Saturdag 19 November our sister church in Zimbabwe, the RCZ, celebrated their 98th graduation during which they also had their licensing ceremony of their candidates at the Murray Theological College at Morgenster in Zimbabwe.
Rev. Simbarashe Munamati, principal of Murray Theological College says, “We are very grateful for the eleven candidates who could graduate and be licensed as candidate ministers this year. They were Chabata Munyaradzi, Chirikure Simbarashe, Mabaya Norman, Machinga Tinashe, Machingambi Rungano, Mawere Nyaradzo, Mazani Linnet, Mhungu Kelvin Tanaka, Mukarati Bensen, Mupereri Mark and Nyadenga Pardon.”

Nine of the eleven candidates who graduated and was licensed as candidate ministers on the 19th November.
“We are also very grateful to our local congregations and friends who helped us manage to support the ceremony in terms of cash and kind. Almost 500 delegates attended this special event. We are also grateful to Witness Ministry in the Western Cape who supported us in terms of resources in training these candidate ministers. It also enabled us to buy Covid-19 personal protective equipment for our students and staff, stationary and it helped us to fulfill the day to day running of the college’s statuary obligations like the paying of levies, electricity, water, traveling, etc.

“We are grateful to Dr De Wet who is the current link between the RCZ and Witness Ministry. We are looking forward to 2023 but anticipate fewer students to be graduated and licensed next year.”
