The Witness Ministry Representatives from approximately 14 DRC and 20 URCSA presbyteries attended the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Witness Ministry, a unit ministry between DRC, URCSA, and RCA, which took place on Wednesday, 9 October 2024, at DRC Bellville-East.

The Conference Part of this meeting consisted of two sessions, Reaching in to reach out, led by Rev. Jaco Botha from the DRC, and Universal Basic Income Guarantee (UBIG), led by Dr Llewellyn MacMaster from URCSA, and Rev. Johan Magerman from CPC, followed by table discussions regarding these two topics. During the Business Meeting, the representatives from the various presbyteries got the opportunity to learn more about the work of the six task teams, Congregational Witness, Ecumenical Partnerships in Africa, Public Witness, Evangelism, Industrial Ministry and Ecology, which make up this service group. Furthermore, the budget and prospects, the Hoffmann Trust, Zikomo Flats, and the representatives of presbyteries were some of the other topics on the table for discussion. The Service Group Coordinator, Rev. Stephen Pedro, thanked all the attendees for their presence, contribution, and commitment to the witness and service of the church.
